Langkawi

Langkawi ist ein Archipel aus 99 Inseln vor der Nordwestküste Malaysias. Die größte Insel – ebenfalls Langkawi genannt – ist mit weißen Sandstränden und von Dschungel bedeckten Hügeln übersät. Langkawi ist alles andere als ein ruhiger Rückzugsort (es ist voller Duty-Free-Outlets), bietet aber dennoch einige Naturwunder und lebhafte Tauchplätze.

The so-called “Jewel of Kedah” is an ideal place to go island-hopping, submerge yourself in waterfalls and get lost in rice fields. All of which can be seen from the Langkawi Sky Bridge. A little tip, though: go early in the morning or you’ll be sharing this view with lots of other tourists exploring Langkawi!
