How to Get From Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport to Yogyakarta City Centre

10 kmFrom $0Research Verified

Train · Bus · Private

Adisutjipto Airport (JOG) was Yogyakarta’s main airport for decades, before most commercial flights moved to the newer Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) in 2020. You can find it just 10 km east of the city centre.

Nowadays, Adisutjipto remains a convenient gateway for travellers arriving on the limited domestic routes that still operate here. The airport’s biggest advantage is its location: you can be in the heart of Yogyakarta in as fast as 15–30 minutes.
