Bus Latiff and Pahang Lin Siong are two bus companies that offer affordable transfers from Taman Negara to Jerantut, with fares from $1.70 (7 MYR). Alternatively, you can take the NKS shuttle coach for a few dollars more.

The buses depart from Taman Negara Bus Stop at Kuala Tahan city centre and arrive at Jerantut Bus Station. You can buy your ticket at the bus stop, but try to arrive 30 minutes before departure time to secure a seat. If travelling with NKS, you can also reserve a ticket through their website.
Taman Negara to Jerantut by Longboat
If you didn’t take this route on your way to Taman Negara, we recommend trying it out on your way back to Jerantut. It takes longer, but it’s very serene and scenic.
From Taman Negara, you’ll need to take a 3-hr longboat ride to Kuala Tembeling Ferry Port. Then you’ll have to transfer to a bus for a 30-min ride to Jerantut. Some companies already offer combined longboat and bus rides, try asking your guesthouse if they can help you book one. Total fares start from $14 (55 MYR).
There are limited longboat trips so ask for the latest schedule at least a day before your trip.
Step 2: Jerantut to Kuala Lumpur by Bus
Perwira Ekspres, SE Ekspres, and TransMalaya Ekspres operate trips from Jerantut to Kuala Lumpur daily. Travel time is about 3h 5m - 3h 35m and tickets start from $3.20 (13 MYR).
You can easily buy your tickets at the bus station, but if you want to book one beforehand, TransMalaya is available on RedBus from $5.90 (24 MYR). Below are their schedules:

Buses depart from Jerantut Bus Station and arrive at Pekeliling Bus Terminal in Kuala Lumpur. If you’re heading to a hotel in KL city centre, you can take the train from the nearby Titiwangsa Train Station.
Note that TransMalaya also has a bus that arrives at Kuala Lumpur Bus Terminal (TBS). This departs at 18:30 from Jerantut Bus Station. The journey takes 3 hr 15 mins and you can get a ticket for $5.40 (22 MYR).
Taman Negara to Kuala Lumpur by Minivan
Han Travel organises combined boat and minivan transfers from Taman Negara to Kuala Lumpur. It’s not exactly a direct option, but at least you won’t have to worry about your connecting ride.
From Taman Negara, you will take a 3-hour longboat ride to Kuala Tembeling and then hop on your connecting minivan (or bus during busy season) bound for Kuala Lumpur.
A note for the longboat ride: make sure your electricals are packed away safely as the boat’s roof doesn’t protect you if there’s heavy rain.
