Nha Trang is a high-rise resort town in southeast Vietnam. Its sandy coast is regarded as one of the most beautiful bays in the world — thanks to its crescent-shaped white sand beach and clear turquoise waters.
Also known as the country's seafood capital, Nha Trang is bustling with many offerings — from dining choices to pagodas and sculpture gardens as well as a vibrant nightlife. But if those are not enough, you can always visit the many islands nearby via boat or by cable car from Nha Trang.

Discover Nha Trang
For many people, Nha Trang is a popular city to split the trip between Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh. But, when you are looking for a chilled beach vibe, this is not the place to be. The beaches are not bad but the fast-growing tourism has made some locals greedy and unfriendly.
Pushy vendors and aggressive taxi drivers are common complaints of travellers staying in Nha Trang. For these reasons, we recommend staying in Quy Nhon instead. Quy Nhon has a long stretch of beach where hotels don't ruin your view and locals greet you with a big smile.
Don't forget that Hoi An also has pretty beaches with a much better vibe than the over-touristic beaches of Nha Trang.
