1Coron to Manila by Flight
A flight from Coron to Manila is the fastest option to get to the capital city of the Philippines.
The flight itself takes just a little over 1 hour. Including transfers to and from the airports, the total travel time is around 2h 25m - 2h 55m.

Step 1: Coron Town to Busuanga Airport by Van
From your hotel in Coron, take a van to Francisco B. Reyes Airport (previously named Busuanga Airport). The airport is about 20 km away from Coron town, and the van ride will take around 45 minutes.
Some hotels in Coron offer a free airport shuttle. If this is not available in your hotel, you can instead book a shared van transfer through Klook. It costs $4.10 (250 PHP) per person and includes hotel pick-up. If you're in a group, you can book a private van for up to 10 people. Rates start at $31 (1,890 PHP).
Another option is to take a tricycle from the town proper for about $4.90 (300 PHP), but the ride can be quite bumpy. For a more comfortable trip, we recommend taking a van.
Step 2: Busuanga Airport to Manila by Flight
You can choose from three carriers operating from Coron to Manila: Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific or CebGo. Expect to find one-way ticket prices starting from $41 (2,500 PHP) if you book in advance. Airfares tend to be more expensive as your travel date nears, especially during peak season.
It’s best to plan your schedule and book your ticket months prior on Skyscanner to get cheaper rates.
Flights land at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City, either at Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.
Cebu Pacific offers multiple “piso fare” sales annually. Keep an eye out for these promotions so you can book a cheaper flight for this route!
Step 3: Manila Airport to the City Centre
The easiest way to get from Manila Airport to anywhere in Metro Manila is by Grab car. Rates start from $3.70 (230 PHP) from Terminal 3 and $6 (370 PHP) from Terminal 2, depending on where you're heading in the city. Taxis are also available at the airport, just make sure you travel with an accredited taxi!
If you want to pre-book your transfer, Klook offers private rides with prices from $19 (1,170 PHP) for a 4-seater.
Alternatively, UBE Express operates point-to-point buses from several destinations across Metro Manila to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Here are the ticket prices:

For the adventurous, travelling via ferry from Coron to Manila is a good option. Don't expect it to be cheap, though! Rates start from $30 (1,840 PHP) for a non-aircon bed. If you want to be more comfortable, expect to pay as much as you would for a flight.
There are two more things you need to consider: Ferries are not available daily, and the trip takes 13-18h. An advantage is that ferries sail at night, which means you don’t need to spend your valuable daytime travelling.
You can choose from two ferry companies: Atienza Interisland Ferries and 2Go Travel.
Ferry with 2Go Travel
2Go ferries sail from Coron to Manila every Sunday. The ferry leaves Coron Port at 20:30, and the journey takes around 13 hours.
Ticket prices start at $59 (3,640 PHP), but this price depends on how early you book and on the ticket class you buy.
Ferry with Atienza Interisland Ferries Inc.
Atienza Interisland Ferries Inc. also operates a passenger-cargo ship on this route. Ferries usually sail 2 to 3 times a week — most often on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Schedules can change monthly, so check their Facebook page for the latest updates.
Ferry fares with Atienza are cheaper, starting at $30 (1,840 PHP) for economy class. Their ferries are slower, though. Travel time is about 18 hours.
