Thanks! Glad you find the post useful! 60USD is indeed double the price that it should cost. Did you use the link I provided to book with Baolau? Other booking websites are often more expensive. When I search on Baolau for tomorrow (24-06) I noticed that the tickets are sold out. But you can still buy tickets for the prices mentioned for wednesday (25-06) or later. The cheapest sleeper berth from Nha Trang to Dang is the SE22 and costs 731.000VND ($31.50).

10-14hFrom $15 (403,000 VND)
There are two ways to travel from Nha Trang to Hoi An by bus:
  • Direct bus from Nha Trang to Hoi An
  • Indirect route via Da Nang
We give you a more detailed guide of both options below.

Option 1: Direct Bus from Nha Trang to Hoi An

8h - 13h 30m$15 (403,000 VND)

When taking the direct bus from Nha Trang to Hoi An, you can save on accommodation costs because the buses travel overnight.

Buses are not as safe as trains, though. And for this route, the main bus operators get mixed reviews — there’s a chance you’ll get an unpleasant ride.

Step 1: Nha Trang to Da Nang by Bus

Be aware that some operators don’t exactly get the best reviews. Considering it’s a 9-13h bus journey, you don’t want to get stuck in a possibly uncomfortable bus with rude staff. For a better experience, we recommend taking the train instead.

Do you still want to take the bus? Fares start from $16 (411,000 VND).
