Quy Nhon to Dalat by Bus
The bus is the only direct option when travelling from Quy Nhon to Dalat. The good thing about taking the bus is they operate overnight so you won’t lose your daytime on travelling. You can also save a night on accommodation.
Thanh Thuy is among the bus operators for this route. Ticket prices start from $15 (387,000 VND) for a sleeper bus. You can also get a more luxurious VIP bus, which offers more privacy, for $17 (435,000 VND).

Departure and arrival station
Buses depart from the Big C, some 4 km south of Quy Nhon city centre. You can get there by taxi with fares from $2.70 (70,000 VND) or by motorbike taxi for around $1.00 (25,000 VND).
They arrive along Nguyen Tu Luc Street, located 5 km north of Da Lat’s backpacker area. From here, you can reach your hotel by taxi for about $3.60 (95,000 VND) or by motorbike taxi with rates from $1.50 (40,000 VND).

Quy Nhon to Dalat by Train
You can also take a train from Quy Nhon to Dalat. This is a good alternative option if you’re thinking of making a stop in Nha Trang.
Since there is no working railway station in Dalat, you can only take the train from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. From here, you can take a van or bus to Dalat.
Step 1: Quy Nhon to Nha Trang by Train
There are five trains operating daily from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. Want to catch the connecting bus to Dalat on the same day? Then you’ll have to take the earliest train from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang.
This train departs from Quy Nhon at 05:14 and arrives in Nha Trang at around 09:30. You will have a few hours to explore Nha Trang before the last van or bus to Dalat departs around 17:00 in the afternoon.

Trains depart from Dieu Tri Railway Station, about 10 km west of Quy Nhon city centre. You can get there by local bus T22 or by taxi.
You are to get off at Nha Trang Train Station, just 2 km west of Nha Trang’s main beach. Depending on your hotel’s location, you can get there via a few minutes’ walk or a short taxi ride.
Step 2: Nha Trang to Dalat by Van or Bus
The best way to get from Nha Trang to Dalat is by van. You can choose from several companies. Van trips are available daily from 06:00 to 17:00.
You can get a van ticket with prices from $10 (263,000 VND) for the journey that takes 3h - 3h 30m.
Departure station
Cuc Tung Limo Van and Futa Bus depart from the Central Bus Station in Nha Trang. This bus terminal is located some 7 km west of the main beach.
When travelling with Lac Hong, you can ask to be picked up from Nha Trang Train Station, or anywhere in the city centre.

In Dalat, Cuc Tung and Futa Bus park at the Intercity Bus Station, located 3 km southeast of the city centre.

Quy Nhon to Dalat by Flight
There are no direct flights from Quy Nhon to Dalat. All flights make a stopover in Ho Chi Minh.
It doesn’t really make sense to take a flight from Quy Nhon to Dalat because the travel time takes at least 7h 30m (same as the bus).
Also, flights can be expensive with combined fares from $60 (1,590,000 VND).

Step 1: Quy Nhon to Quy Nhon Airport by Taxi
Quy Nhon Airport (Phu Cat) is located 30 km northwest of Quy Nhon city centre. You can get there in two ways: by shuttle bus or by taxi.
If on a budget, we recommend taking a shuttle bus for only $1.90 (50,000 VND). This bus departs from 1 Nguyen Tat Thanh in Quy Nhon centre. Make sure to be at the bus stop at least 3 hours before your flight.
When travelling in a group, you can also just take a 45-minute taxi to Quy Nhon Airport for around $13 (350,000 VND).
Step 2: Quy Nhon to Dalat by Flight
There are several indirect flights available daily from Quy Nhon to Dalat via Ho Chi Minh.
Airfares start from $57 (1,500,000 VND). Vietjet Air normally offers the cheapest fares with a travel time of around 5.5 hours.

Step 3: Dalat Airport to Dalat City Centre by Taxi
Dalat Airport (Lien Khuong) is located 30 km south of Dalat city centre. To get to your hotel, you can take a bus for 1 hour or a taxi for 45 minutes.
The bus is the cheaper option with ticket prices from $1.50 (40,000 VND). Airport buses go all the way from the airport to the city centre. You will be dropped off at either Ngoc Phat Hotel near Xuan Huong Lake or Le Thi Hong Gam Street near Dalat Market.
An alternative option would be to take a taxi for around $11 (288,000 VND).
